This new collection of Noongar-language technicolour dance tracks by Maatakitj (Clint Bracknell) with ARIA award winning Australian music icon Paul Mac first premiered as part of Noongar Wonderland, the multisensory experience by Boomerang and Spear for Perth Festival 2022. These songs cast a neon spotlight on the ecological value of bull-sharks, stingrays, dolphins, bobtail lizards, dragonflies, and groundwater in the southwest of Western Australia.

Aurora Grant Partners Announced

Aurora is proud to announce that six groups have been funded to deliver programs that support and empower the wellbeing and social connection of the
LGBTIQ+ people through the annual Aurora small grants round. Read more. The Aurora Group is a charity, raising funds to disburse to LGBTIQ+ community organisations. Aurora exists so people can support a broad range of projects responding to the coalface needs of the LGBTIQ+ community.
First Nations LGBTQI+ people from across Australia will now be able to broadcast and share their music, video, podcast series and stories through a new LGBTIQ+ channel on the indigiTUBE platform.
A call out for new content dedicated only to First Nations LGBTIQ+ community members and organisations/groups will begin in June. Sharing stories that showcase the experiences of First Nations LGBTQI+ people is critical to building awareness, understanding and celebration.
indigiTUBE's LGBTIQ+ channel will be launched in Sydney in NAIDOC week 2022!
