MEDIA RELEASE
Vote on the Voice Project!
In late 2023, all Australians will have the opportunity to vote on the First Nations Voice to Parliament.
The Voice will be independent and represent First Nations peoples. It will:
  • advise the Australian Parliament and Government.
  • give First Nations people a say on matters that affect them.
It’s important to get the facts straight before you vote. FNMA has produced a media package for First Nations media orgs to use to promote awareness about the facts about the Voice to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The packages will be available soon and includes:
  • Radio spots for broadcast.
  • Scripts you can produce with local talent and in local languages.
  • Fact sheets on the Voice.
FNMOs can apply for a package to participate in this project and funds are available for participating orgs.

The Information Booklet can be found here or you can view the Resources Referendum on an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice here.
Deadline for Expressions of Interest is Wednesday 31 May 2023.
Social media tiles and more content will be available soon!

Tagline: 'Inform your choice’ - Social Media Tiles below.
To participate in the project, please contact Membership & Executive Assistant Mikayla Shaw.

We value your input and support and look forward to working with you as we continue our efforts to amplify First Nation Voices, and promote reconciliation and equality.

Thank you for your continued support.
