Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander media organisations were invited to apply for an ABC staff member to be seconded to their organisation, to assist the organisation with a specific project/ program. The secondment program is designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander media organisations, to deepen ABC relationships with Indigenous communities, and build ABC staff cultural awareness. 6 Indigenous media organisations applied to host an ABC secondee. Over 35 ABC staff applied to do the secondments Triple J’s special projects producer Celline Narinli was the successful ABC application for the IndigiTUBE placement. She will spend two weeks with IndigiTUBE, which will hopefully build future collaborations between ABC music networks and IndigiTUBE.

OneMob Radio is a first nations media platform located in Coffs Harbour, NSW (Gumbaynggirr Country).

We are a 24 Hour, 7 Days a Week Webcasting Radio Station and Information Hub showcasing a very strong and connected community but also keeping our local community up to date with current news, events and programs whilst also supporting and promote local Aboriginal artists, music and entertainment.

Our Radio Platform is about celebrating first nations people, stories, achievements and culture.

This Project was established in 2020 by proud Gumbaynggirr Man, Lachlan Skinner. OneMob Radio stems from a local Aboriginal Radio Program called
“Speaking Hour Lingo”. Speaking Hour Lingo was developed to train our young people up in Radio and Presenting. The Project empowered a number of our young leaders of today.
