We are stoked to announce the 12 artists chosen for First Sounds Volume One. In this innovative series of releases, the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia and First Nations Media Australia have teamed up to deliver new and emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music to Australian radio.

First Sounds Volume One is a stylistically diverse compilation, drawing on hip hop, roots, RnB, rock, reggae, and pop. Behind these songs are real stories about finding your way and the realities about being a First Nations individual in Australia.

The call-out for Volume Two happens from March 1 to March 30. First Nations artists should head to firstsounds.indigitube.com.au to take part.
