Watch our next feature of BREAKING GROUND, the biography of Jimmy Little. In the 1950s Australia's First Peoples were still more than a decade away from being recognised as citizens. So the fact that Aboriginal singer Jimmy Little was able to become a major star on the pop and country music scene was quite remarkable. Available for viewing until this Sunday 11 April.

BREAKING GROUND launches its second release today on indigiTUBE in collaboration with the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia's Black Screen. The program follows First Nations leaders and their work over the past 100 years of our history. It stands as a reminder of the impact black leadership and self-determination has had on our country and aims to empower those to come. Check the full program HERE.
