Tandanya is celebrating 30 years of First Nations art and culture with their anniversary short film titled 30 30 30, featuring 30-sec clips gathered from 30 community members sharing their thoughts on Tandanya over the past 30 years!
When Tandanya first opened its doors in 1989, it launched with a month-long festival that featured concerts by Yothu Yindi, Jimmy Little, Bangarra Dance Theatre and Ernabella Inma (traditional dance ceremony). 30 years later we watch heartfelt messages from our community, including Archie Roach, Jessica Mauboy, Luke Carrol, Troy Cassar-Daley, John Butler, Paul Kelly and many more, as Tandanya celebrate Australia’s only national Aboriginal cultural institute.
