First Nations Media Australia are excited to announce that the annual national First Nations media industry conference, CONVERGE 2024, along with the esteemed 2024 First Nations Media Awards are set to take place for a consecutive year in the vibrant heart of Canberra from 19th to 21st November 2024, on the sacred lands of the Ngunnawal/Ngambri peoples.
Embodying the theme of CONVERGE, “MEETING TOGETHER >> MOVING IN ONE DIRECTION. Nguluway >> yanhanhagu dhulu ngumbaay” - as beautifully translated into the Ngunnawal language - this year we will bring together media professionals across radio, television, print, and online platforms to receive valuable sector updates, share stories, celebrate First Nations excellence, network and have a say in helping set the future direction of the First Nations media industry.
