On DAY 1 we look forward to being welcomed onto Ngunnawal/Ngambri land, the CONVERGE 2023 Keynote Address from Stan Grant followed by an insightful Q&A opportunity moderated by FNMA Chief Executive Officer, CEO Professor Shane Hearn. Members and delegates will also participate in the Indigenous Digital Leadership Forum for an engaging afternoon’s discussion.
On DAY 2 we will profile important policy updates in the sector as well as provide a range of opportunities to join in more focused sessions such as a Print & Online Forum, an exploration of the exciting developments in AI and other technologies and honing your Digital Skills in the Newsroom.
And on DAY 3, as well as Ordinary and Associate FNMA members attending the FNMA AGM, CONVERGE attendees will engage in sessions on cultural safety, come together to discuss the post-referendum role of allies to First Nations peoples in the media sector, as well as explore First Nations Media Perspectives and Actions with the First Nations Digital Inclusion Advisory Group.
DAY 3 will also present the highlight of CONVERGE 2023 - a memorable night celebrating First Nations media excellence at the First Nations Media Awards and Gala Dinner which will also showcase live entertainment from First Nations artists and musicians.
