A PIONEER IN FIRST NATIONS FILMMAKING
We are saddened by the loss of Mr Bostock, a pioneer in First Nations filmmaking in this country. We send our condolences to his loved ones at this difficult time. Mr Bostock was a tireless voice for First Nations people, inspiring and mentoring those who walked with him and those who followed him. A Bundjalung man from Box
River Reserve in New South Wales, Mr Bostock was unable to read or write when he left school at just 13. Undeterred, he returned to education as an adult and became a teacher.
