BOOX KID TAKES US TO ELECTROPOP HEAVEN
:: AMPLIFY mentor program launches. AMPLIFY artist releases new track G.F.Y. ::

The highly anticipated new track from Boox Kid dropped on Friday with the release of his 6th single G.F.Y. (Go F*ck Yourself).  Written and produced by Jarred Wall (Boox Kid), a proud Noongar man from the Wardandi Bibbulmun nation, G.F.Y. is an electropop heaven with its captivating dance beats and heartfelt lyrics.

Featuring Perth powerhouse Alter Boy, G.F.Y. tells the story of those in the minority; unifying, coming together and saying a big "F You" in the face of adversity.

A proud First Nations beat creator who delivers unique melodies, harmonies, and instrumentation, Boox Kid is one of our artists in the deadly AMPLIFY project.

"I'm excited for what the opportunity will bring to be part of AMPLIFY and to work amongst such amazing First Nations artists. Whilst there is still work to be done, our music is becoming a staple in the Australian artist landscape, this opportunity will only expand on that".

We are excited to release G.F.Y. which is now also available to broadcasters for download and airplay.
AMPLIFYING OUR MOB
We are super pumped to kick off AMPLIFY this week, a mentoring program supporting some of the deadly emerging artists from the 2020 First Sounds compilations. We are excited to announce the five artists travelling toward their music pursuits with AMPLIFY are Boox Kid, Rachael Lia, Yirgjhilya, Jamahl Ryder and Nathan May. The program will finish with a songwriting workshop and a nationally promoted gig in conjunction with the First Nations Media Awards in November on Kaurna sacred lands, restrictions permitting. The following artists will also be joining us for the digital component of AMPLIFY; Aimee Hannan, Murringaahddi, Maurial Spearim, Nathaniel Sims, Donovan Rice, Jeffrey James Black and Mack Ridge.

AMPLIFY is stoked to have awesome leaders from our music industry backing our artists, including Emily Wurramara, Kobie Dee and Mau Power. They will get together online for yarn sessions with our artists; sharing knowledge, contacts and experiences to get their music out there.
