Contribute to sector policy development and planning, establish industry development working
groups, launch the new national peak body and attend the IRCA General Meeting.

Travel subsidies are available to IRCA Ordinary and Associate Members. These subsidies are limited and intended for those most in need of support to attend CONVERGE. For member organisations, the subsidy of up to $1,000 will be available to support one Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representative to
attend.

The Festival is heading back to the desert this year and IRCA General Manager Daniel Featherstone has met with leaders of NG Media and Irrunytju (Wingellina) community in WA. The community have welcomed the opportunity to host this year’s annual Festival in late
September.

BRIDGING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE
PHASE 2 OF inDigiMOB LAUNCHED
2016 FORMATIVE PROGRAM EVALUATION REPORT HERE
Phase 2 of inDigiMOB was launched on 15 February, expanding the delivery of digital literacy initiatives and digital mentor support in remote communities across the Northern Territory. To help increase this reach, Telstra donated a brand new vehicle to IRCA for the duration of the project. The 2016 Formative Program Evaluation Report is now available from the pilot year.

WOMEN LISTENERS
REMOTE ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER RADIO KEY FINDINGS FOR FEBRUARY The 2016 Remote Indigenous Media and Communications Survey shows a lot about how people connect with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander radio. With International Women's Day around the corner, we are starting this month with women’s radio listening preferences. Each month we will profile different key findings. IRCA is currently developing a full report on the Survey outcomes. It will will be available mid year 2017.
